Ca multi alti zei Maya, <strong>Chac<\/strong> este\u00a0unul sau multiplu (4, corespunzator punctelor cardinale), si poate fi reprezentat de un corp uman cu solzi sau corp de sarpe cu cap uman cu un nas mare atarnand. E considerat a fi si un zeu al agriculturii si fertilitatii prin extensie a ploii.
